Our Story
In 2019, Samuel Kivumbi was working as an investment banker in London when he received a call that changed everything. His mother back in Kampala had fallen seriously ill, and the family needed urgent funds for her medical treatment. Despite having the money, getting it to his family quickly and safely proved to be a nightmare.
After hours on the phone with banks, dealing with high fees, slow transfers, and unreliable services, Samuel realized he wasn’t alone. Millions of Ugandans abroad faced the same struggle – wanting to support their families but lacking a trustworthy, efficient way to do so.
That’s when Home Link Uganda was born. We set out to create more than just a money transfer service. We built a comprehensive support system that treats your family like our own.
